My Story

Drumming has been a part of my life since I was a child. Growing up, I would often sit behind a drum set and lose myself in the rhythms, the beats that made me feel alive. It was my escape, a way to express myself, and something I truly enjoyed. However, as I grew older, life became busier—school, work, sports, and other commitments took over. Slowly, drumming became less of a priority. I tucked my sticks away, telling myself I’d come back to it later, but years passed without picking them up again.

Then, a few years ago, I rediscovered my passion for drumming. It felt like I was reconnecting with a part of myself I had forgotten. Picking up the sticks once more, I felt the same joy I had as a kid—there’s something magical about creating music with your hands. The rhythm brought a sense of peace I hadn’t realised I was missing. It reminded me that, despite all the busyness of life, it’s important to make time for the things that bring you joy. Rediscovering drumming has reignited a spark in me, and I’m grateful for the music and the joy it continues to bring.
