Teaching drums has taught me that no two students are the same. That’s why I tailor my approach to suit each individual, whether I’m teaching a five-year-old discovering rhythm for the first time or an adult looking to unlock their creative potential. Technique is crucial—I make sure every student learns the fundamentals, from grip to posture to timing. But I believe that drumming is more than just precision. My goal is to help my students develop a true feel for rhythm, not just as drummers but as rhythmic people.
