Teaching drums has taught me that no two students are the same. That’s why I tailor my approach to suit each individual, whether I’m teaching a five-year-old discovering rhythm for the first time or an adult looking to unlock their creative potential. Technique is crucial—I make sure every student learns the fundamentals, from grip to posture to timing. But I believe that drumming is more than just precision. It’s about connecting with the music on a deeper level.

My goal is to help my students develop a true feel for rhythm, not just as drummers but as rhythmic people. I want them to understand how rhythm flows through everything we do, from how we walk to how we express ourselves. Through dynamic lessons, I encourage my students to internalise rhythm, helping them find that sense of oneness with the music.

Drumming isn’t just about playing—it’s about living rhythmically. Whether you’re aiming to groove with a band or simply improve your sense of timing, my method focuses on building that connection. Because once you feel the rhythm, it’s not just in your hands; it’s in your heart and every step you take.
